Data Deletion
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This page explains how to disconnect platforms, delete your data and close your account — and what we delete, when. It is the data-deletion instructions page referenced by our Privacy Policy and by the platform developer programs we integrate with.
Disconnect a platform
In the Service, open Settings → Connected accounts and disconnect the platform account. You can also revoke Claryt's access directly with the platform — both paths have the same effect for us:
- Google / YouTube: Google security settings — third-party access
- Instagram / Facebook / Threads: Settings → Apps and Websites (in the respective app)
- TikTok: Settings → Security → Apps with account access
- LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services
- X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps
- Pinterest: Settings → Security → Connected apps
- Telegram: remove the Claryt bot from your channel's administrators
Within 7 days of a disconnection or revocation we delete the data we hold from that platform account: authorization tokens, the synced content catalog and its metrics. Records of publications you made through the Service remain in your workspace history without the platform data.
Delete your account
Email privacy@claryt.io from your account's email address (or use the in-product account settings) requesting deletion. We will confirm and delete your account data — content, platform data, usage history — within 7 days, retaining only what the law requires us to keep (e.g., tax and billing records) for the legally mandated period.
Automatic deletion requests from platforms
When a platform notifies us that you removed the Claryt app or requested deletion through the platform's own tools (e.g., Meta's data-deletion callback, TikTok's authorization-removed event), we delete that platform's data on the same 7-day schedule — no action needed on your side. Where the platform's flow provides one, you will receive a confirmation code and a status URL to track the request.
